I have statistical proof that I'm good at my job. That's reassuring.

I disabled the IMAPS port forward on my firewall; it turns out I don't need that and I was seeing a lot of credential stuffing from opportunist bots. Now they'll have to try the https Web interface approach, which requires 2fa for all users.

+1 security points for me.

I got upgraded to Android 10.
The 'share' feature is even worse.

Do you ever have a moment of panic, while driving, that maybe you've forgotten your car keys?

To date, I have always realized how stupid this is before turning the car around.

Casually creeping through my 'parked' domain collection and deleting top level DNS A records.

Nothing to see here, just a domain name with no server, you dig?

How can modern technology be used to optimise the summoning of demons?

Please don't tell me blockchain.

I'm still wondering what the goal was with these redistributable packages.

I have 26 installed; I have no idea which of them were installed for which software, or are currently needed, so I have to keep them all.

I block remote images, and never click links, or open attachments, of course.

Just occasionally, I see one that makes me wonder where they got my personal information.

While diagnosing a hardware problem, I removed the WiFi card from my laptop.

That didn’t solve the problem, but I snapped the antenna connector off the WiFi card PCB, so now I have to replace it anyway 🙄

... and I still have diagnostics to do.
